    Citizens Advice Dorset launches Partner Line

    A new Partner Line Service has been launched by Citizens Advice Dorset to improve the customer experience and to make the service more accessible.

    The new service provides a single point of contract for third parties for the Citizens Advice service in the county (excluding Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole).

    Third parties can call the Citizens Advice Dorset Partner Line on: 

    0330 1330 112

    If the third party calling the line has the client with them to give consent, Citizens Advice can:

    • check what help the service is giving them and what needs to be done next. If necessary a time can be  arranged to meet or call them directly
    • take a new referral if needed which will be passed to their nearest Citizens Advice office.

    If the third party doesn't have the client with them, Citizens Advice can:

    • check if it is an existing client who has given specific permission to talk to the third party
    • give general information about the sort of help we can offer a client in that situation.

    The service can also:

    • give information about its services, venues, opening times, and general information on subjects such as benefits, debt and housing
    • signpost the third party to other agencies and reliable online information. 

    The new partner number telephone number is not for use by clients who should be given the Advice line number: 03444 111 444.
