  • Talk Money Week 2018

    Financial Capability Week, now Talk Money Week is the annual celebration of the work thousands of organisations are doing to improve money management across the UK. Throughout the week we will be encouraging both our staff and customers to talk about their finances and to tackle affordability issues.

    To do this we have planned several activities throughout the week of 12-18th November.

    Here are just a few examples of what we will be up to:

    • Promoting Talk Money week using the national hashtag #TalkMoney
    • Distributing information leaflets around our many offices, promoting the importance of tackling money, budgeting and debt issues
    • Learn at lunch session for staff to attend a talk/presentation over lunchtime by Neyber, an organisation offering access to free financial education and insights, and affordable loans and savings plans for staff via their employer
    • Top tip sheets available for staff on a number of financial related topics
    • Sharing some success stories from our 'Money Matters' project via social media to show the benefits of addressing financial issues
    • Promoting our financial assistance schemes via social media
