Following our recent opening to applications for our annual Money Matters funding, our panel have reviewed all the applicants and are pleased to be funding 10 organisations for a variety of financial capability projects.
Through this grant, we're supporting activities that help people to improve their financial capability and encourage responsible payment behaviour for the services they receive, with the desire to make a long-term difference to the target beneficiaries.
Examples of the projects that are running this year include the incorporation of budgeting and money management into a life skills course aimed at children, a theatre production communicating the dangers of loan sharks as well as effective debt management and also the continuation of support for the reintegration of prison inmates into daily society and preparation for handling their financial matters on release.
We are looking forward to seeing some of the projects in action and receiving feedback from those going through the process which will allow us to improve the scheme further for future rounds of funding.
Keep an eye on our Partnerhub for more funding opportunities over the next year.
