Round up of the year 2021

It only seems like yesterday we were reflecting on 2020 and what a year that had been, and 2021 has been no different.

Our staff and partners have worked incredibly hard to support our customers and here’s a few examples of what we have done over the last 12 months:

  • Launched Friends Against Scams to raise awareness of scams affecting our customers and staff
  • Begun our pilot in conjunction with CCW to support the recommendation that all water companies should operate a simple application process that covers all support schemes 
  • Supporting the government respite scheme - Breathing Space
  • Continue to comply with the BSi standard of Inclusive Service Provision
  • Working with Fire and Rescue services to promote their fire safety visits
  • Launched our new Help with your water bills form - more updates to come in 2022
  • Supporting Avon and Somerset Police with their Dementia wristbands scheme
