We’re really pleased to announce that, as of 31 March 2023, we are now sharing our Priority Services information two ways with our local Energy Distribution networks. This is part of a larger national project with Ofwat and Ofgem to make it easier for companies to share data and means customers will only need to tell us once of their additional needs.

We have already been receiving data from National Grid Electricity Distribution and Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks for some years. We now share back with them any of our customers that have signed up to our Priority Service Register, meaning more customers are supported if they have additional needs.

From March we have also started a new data-sharing partnership with Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service, where we share two ways any customers we feel may benefit from their ‘Safe and well’ visits and where the fire service feels they would benefit from being on our Priority Services register. Our aim is to expand this across all the fire services within our region.
