Organisation running project: South Somerset Citizen Advice
Water Affordability Advice On Tour is a touring programme of community promotions that will take place within existing groups, clubs, pubs and community events in the most deprived Wards of Yeovil and Chard in South Somerset.

Can we ASSIST you?
Organisation running project: Yeovil Family Church
The project aims to increase awareness and uptake of Wessex Water’s affordability schemes in the hard to reach areas of Yeovil, by dedicating a Water/Finance Advisor. Activities would include advertising, leaflet drops, pop-up stands and presentations, all the while liaising with other organisations.
Healthier Finances
Organisation running project: West Somerset Advice
The aim of this project is to target resources to identify households who would be eligible for the ASSIST scheme to prevent vulnerable customers from falling into debt and financial difficulty when help is available.
Open Doors to Water and Energy
Organisation running project: CSE
During this project, CSE will engage and support low income customers of Wessex Water and Bristol Water in Somerset, specifically Bridgwater and Weston Super Mare through a targeted door knocking exercise.
Take one for a friend
Organisation running project: Bristol Citizen Advice and South Bristol Advice Centre
This project is a cross branding exercise to encourage engagement and to provide local venues for those that take up the help or advice. Focussing on handing out leaflets at a local shopping areas Bedminster, Broadwalk and Stockwood and around schools in the area.

Income Generation
Organisation running project: Wiltshire Citizen Advice
The idea of having a ‘warm and welcoming home in winter’ will be used as a stepping off point for engaging people with this project. This will be done by holding two major promotional events, one before and one after Christmas, in a prominent shopping centre in Salisbury, The events will offer a ’10-Minute Utility Saving Check’.

One Worry Less

For the One Worry Less scheme which provides support for lone-parent households to improve their financial capability and avoid fuel and water debt, with face-to-face advice and support.

For the Money Made Easy project, providing a series of workshops to help adults with learning disabilities understand personal finances and avoid debt.
A toolkit was also created which can be used by anyone wanting to improve their money management skills.
