In 2025 we’re embarking on one of our most exciting and ambitious programmes to upgrade our water meters to smart meters.
Water meters are a brilliant way to help our customers save water in their homes. Almost three quarters of our customers have a water meter and only pay for what they use.
Our smart meter programme is one of the ways we’re helping to keep more water in the environment in the face of climate change and a growing population.
Smart meters collect water use data every day, compared with our current meters which are only read every six months.
We are aiming to start the rollout in Wiltshire in the summer of 2025. We will provide more information nearer the time to ensure you have the tools to support any of your clients in the area if required.
