Wessex Water - Your water, your say event

At the start of October 2023, we submitted our detailed business plan for 2025 to 2030 to the industry regulator, Ofwat, for assessment.

In developing this plan, we talked to thousands of customers, businesses, and stakeholders to make sure it addresses their needs and priorities.

We are hosting a follow up 'Your water, your say' session, where customers and stakeholders can hear more about the plan and ask us questions about it.

It will be held on Zoom on Tuesday 14 November 2023 from 6pm to 8pm.

Book your place

As key stakeholders that support our customers, particularly the most vulnerable, we would really like you to join us.

Registration is now open and you can book your place.

As well as hearing your views as a stakeholder, we want to hear from the customers you represent, particularly those who wouldn’t feel comfortable or aren’t able to take part in an online meeting.

You could:

  • join the session with a client so they can participate directly
  • support a client to join the session with their family or friends, a local debt advice agency or a community group
  • ask a specific question on behalf of a client
  • request a summary of the business plan by post for your clients
  • encourage them to write to us with questions: Wessex Water PR24 Team, Wessex Water, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7WW.

You can download an event flyer and share it with your clients.

These ‘Your water, your say’ sessions are being held across the industry – find out more about them from CCW and Ofwat, who we are partnering with to run the event.

How to ask questions

We’re really keen to hear your questions about our business plan. Questions could cover:

  • the service we provide
  • our impact on the environment
  • what will happen to your water bill
  • or another topic relating to our 2025-30 plan that is important to you.

You're welcome to simply ask questions on the day by raising your hand or typing a message during the session.

You can also send questions in advance, for example, if you can’t attend the session, or if you can attend but would prefer CCW to ask the question on your behalf.

Simply email your question to yourwateryoursay@ccwater.org.uk, stating clearly that your question is for Wessex Water.

As explained above, non-digital customers are very welcome to write to us with questions: Wessex Water PR24 Team, Wessex Water, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7WW.

Can't attend?

Head to our website to look at our 2025-30 business plan, or email will.chivers@wessexwater.co.uk to request a summary in the post.

We'd still love to hear any questions, so please send them in advance to CCW via yourwateryoursay@ccwater.org.uk (please state clearly that your question is for Wessex Water) or by post to Wessex Water PR24 Team, Wessex Water, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7WW.

After the event we’ll publish responses to all questions that were submitted.

What if you only receive sewerage services from us?

For those in the Bristol, Bournemouth, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset parts of our region, we only provide your wastewater services.

Your water supply services are provided by Bournemouth Water, Bristol Water or South West Water.

You can have your say about their 2025-30 plans for your water supply services by registering for their joint event on Monday 6 November at 6 pm.

Once their registration opens, you will be able to book your place.
