We have held our second Vulnerability Awareness Week. Our annual campaign aims to raise awareness among colleagues of the support Wessex Water provides for customers in need of extra help, plus the training available to help them do so.
The week consisted of:
- a session with Marie Curie, raising awareness of the brilliant work they do to support anyone who has a life-limiting diagnosis and how Wessex Water can support our customers experiencing this
- refreshing knowledge of the variety of training around vulnerability we have on offer
- a vulnerability awareness quiz
- the launch of our new Kidney Care UK case study and how we’re supporting our customers with chronic kidney disease
- highlighting how our teams are supporting customers who need extra help, especially around our Priority Services Register and the great feedback we have received from our customers.
See some of the fantastic feedback we have received:
“Toby went several extra miles for me. He was professional and caring, and did everything he could to stop me worrying and stressing about a complicated issue that I couldn’t cope with as I am old, ill and live on my own."
“Isabel was very helpful, as was the man who brought us bottled water. I just wish the customer service of other companies was half as efficient as yours."
“The two guys that came out were absolutely amazing, especially considering I had so much going on. They were so professional in sorting it out and cleaning up the mess afterwards.”
“Will and Ben were very kind and helpful, as was the call handler Tonia. As I am unwell, it would have been stressful for me to get the blockage cleared, so knowing that Wessex Water could do it helped alleviate that stress and worry."
